My favorite childhood toys were my dolls. I must have had a dozen baby dolls and more than that of Barbie dolls. But out of all my dolls I had a favorite; my Chatty Cathy doll. When I was a little girl, I was in and out of the hospital because of my ears. Everytime I had to go into the hospital, my Mom stopped at Sears and I go to pick out a new doll. I chose Chatty Cathy one of those times. She was not like all my other dolls, she talked. So she slept with me, not in the crib that my Daddy made for my dolls. I would still have my Chatty Cathy to this day except she was in a box that someone stole from out house when I was a teenager. I plan someday to see if I can win one on ebay.

I used to love my Barbies too!
I am so sorry about your Cathy doll. My mom talks about hers! I hope you can get you another one on e-bay at a good deal!
